Dash cam / turn cameras
Dash cam / turn cameras is a downloadable 3D printable model with hosted files, creator attribution, and Creative Commons CC0 1.0 details.
Original creator description
These are meant to sit on your dash and face sideways, to help you see around corners for traffic. The camera mount was designed to fit in the corner of the dash against the windshield of my 2000 s-10. I made these out of abs and have 1 of them sitting on my dash for 3 months in the southern us sun. It has not melted or deformed yet, so I believe it will hold up for quite a while. I still need to find a place to mount the monitors, and sand the glue joints and smooth it. I had to split it into 4 pieces to fit on my printer. Update: 2/17/19 Finished - made new back, the thicker blocks for strength were too big. This hosted file keeps creator credit and Creative Commons CC0 1.0 details.
