There's something intensely organic and elegant about this end-cap, but more importantly it just feels amazingly perfect in your hand, like it's hugging your fingers. It is a pure pleasure to use, to screw on or off. Its subtle curves are pleasing to the eye as well. We are used to simple planar curves in ordinary life, this is a complex 3D curve which we seldom encounter in the real world--they are hard to manufacture by ordinary means. Which makes this a perfect example piece of a part suitable for 3D printing. It has a threaded center-hole, and is designed to cap onto a 2" ID cylinder.
