Sharpie Fine Point Plotter Adapter
Slip this on a Sharpie Fine Point pen (aka: a "normal" Sharpie) to use it in a standard pen plotter. Note that regular Sharpies are too long to fit in a carousel-style pen holder. I'll look into updating this for mini-Sharpies eventually. This should be a snug friction fit, but tolerances are tight and printing it is tricky. There's only room for a single 0.4mm perimeter wall, and you'll need to print with support material. I printed with 0.2mm layers. Note that the long end goes towards the tip. If you happen to have 4, 8, 12 or more Intel Galileo devices you can assemble them into a big tower. This design allows you to see all the boards and blinking lights while holding them tightly together. All of the network cables and power goes thru the center of the tower so you get a clean view of the boards and excellent cable management. You can then use Meshcentral.com to remotely manage all of the devices over the Internet and use Arduino Mesh management tools to push sketches easily. RigidBot Filament Guide
Filament guide to help feed the filament off the spool at a consistent rate. Attach a PTFE tube (4mm outer diameter, 3mm inner diameter) to one side, and run it to the extruder (make sure it's long enough for the full range of the extruder). Running the filament through the tube should keep the spool from being yanked around as the extruder moves. The spool should turn at the rate the extruder feeds. I spiral the filament tube around the extruder cable a couple of times and have it attached with a velcro strap. Update: The original part has more resistance than it should, especially when you get to the end of the spool and the diameter decreases. The new v2 version is designed to attach fur... Airtripper V2 remix
Clarification: I am using a geared stepper with an 8mm output shaft. My hobbed gear is from Makergear and is 13mm in diameter with a 11mm diameter for the groove (Trinity Labs website has the same size). The M4 screws are 45mm long. Updated 12/28/2013 - added some support for the pushfit. I had an issue with the first one's threads getting pushed out. Also, instead of cutting threads I use a hotair station to warm the plastic and then screwed the pushfit in forming the threads instead. I am using it with a 5.2:1 geared stepper. I modified the scad file to remove some un-needed bulk, extend the mounting feet to work on my 15mm extrusion, and add some roundness to the part. I like the idler o... Zen ToolWorks Filament Wheel Extension, Part A
This extension is designed specifically for 1.75 mm ABS filament sold by Zen ToolWorks on Amazon. It is designed for MakerGear M2's filament wheel holder, so it is nice and thick for structural purpose. I also made a thinner extension for keeping filament from falling off the cardboard wheel. Ultimaker quiet retraction
This greatly reduces the noise from the extruder motor. The wooden backplane of the Ultimaker did act like a drum. To find out how much noise this upgrade can remove, carefully un-hook the feeder while printing, and hold it in your hand. Answer: it makes a huge difference. Update1: separate, much better holder for the bowden coupling, and other tweaks. Update2: upper hook should withstand PLA creep better. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Desk cable clamp
Holds a cable to the back of a desk. Screw this clamp into the bottom back of the desktop. Pre-drill the hole to prevent the screw from pushing out the desk-wood. I chose LAYWOO-D3 to match my wood coloured desk, but black or brown plastic might also look just as good. The slot down the middle allows the arms to spring open wide enough to accept the cable. Mast Slug Drilling block (Fits Tack Tick compass mount.)
Instruments are typically held to sailboat masts using slugs in the sail track. The slug gives the equipment something to screw to that can be adjusted up and down. A slug is usually a piece of round aluminum bar-stock with threaded holes drilled crosswise in it. How does one align a drill bit to drill these holes? Using a Mast Slug Drilling block. This one will align 3 holes in a 3/8" x 2+" piece of aluminum bar-stock. Perfect for mounting a tack tick compass mount. Prusa i3 heated build platform cable strain relief clip
Updated 2013-12-22 ctheroux has published an improved version of this part at the original source This clip gives an anchor point to which the heated build platform power and sensor cables may be tied on a Prusa i3. The raised portion sits over the back bar of the Y plate and is fixed in place with one or more 100mm cable ties. The notches at the rear of the piece accomodate a 250mm cable tie which can be cinched down either over conduit as in this installation or directly on to wires if desired. A20M Filament Guide
1.75mm Filment Guide re-mixed from one by Friecke. Uses bearings ABEC9 or 608ZZ. Also needs a M3-5 cap bolt by 13mm and a M3-5 nut with a plastic insert and a M3 washer. The bearings will need to be pressed in using a vice. The plastic bearing post diameter will need to be sanded to get a tight fit without it breaking. The rollers fit close enough together so that the filament will not jam or hang up as it is pulled through. That allows the filamant roll to be placed almost anywhere behind the bracket as the rollers will keep it aligned to feed into the extruder. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
250x150x4 mm Chopping Glass holder for Replicator
I found such a thing in a store for 1.49 EUR and I couldn't resist to give it a try. It works amaizingly well (with some limitations) together with the cheapest strong fix hairspray (Laca Isabel: 2.09 EUR in the same store). This thing is not parametric, sorry. I utilized some of his parts except for the X-Carraige , which I increased in height to provide better support for the my Bowden Hot End. I used Stock Drive Products (sdp-si.com) largest G2 belt which is 87.323 inches (2218 mm) long (P/N A 6R51MB09060) as well as their 10mm Self Lubricating Acetal Bearings for the 10mm Z-Axis (P/N A 7Z44MPSD10MAF), as well as a Z-axis LM10LUU version bearing holder.
