RigidBot Lamp Holder
Adapter for mounting an Ikea Tertial lamp on top of a RigidBot (the adapter fits inside the hole in one of the top corner knuckles. http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/20370383/ Designed to be printed in nylon. Warning: the weight of the lamp can shift the Rigidbot's frame so I don't recommend you use this design. It could still be useful if you don't move the light around. Montana
Born here in what I call a rough place, the treasure state. Montana, where the treasure is real. If you are looking for one particular treasure, It might not be easily found. An open mind can come in handy here, because of the diversity found near my home in Montana. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Test Object #001
A fairly small test object meant to test low z-layer height resolution. 30mm diameter disc base. Top is divided into quadrants of different heights: 0.5mm, 1.0mm, 1.5mm, 2.0mm, and 2.5mm The 0.5mm region and the 2.5mm region share the same quadrant. They are separated into a triangle and a arc wedge. The 1.00mm region contains a column with a cone on top. The column is 5.0mm tall. The cone, 3.0mm diameter base, on top is another 2.0mm taller than the column. The top is a 1.5mm diameter circle. The 1.5mm region contains a hexagonal pillar with a smaller hexagonal cavity rotated so that the points of the inner hexagonal space face the midpoints of the walls of the external hexagonal surface.... Decagon Cup Holder
We recently got these drinking glasses , and I decided I wanted to make it harder to spill 21 ounce of fluid all over myself and my desk (yes, it's happened before). Also, it saves desk space which is always a plus. The included STL is a tad smaller than I had wanted, so the glass doesn't slide "through" the holder as far as I wanted, but it's still stable. If I print another one, I'd probably make it about 2-4% bigger. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
Hipster Elephant
Meant to be mounted to a wall or something. Only the front half is modeled. If requested, I can model the whole thing. Was just too lazy. The glasses were too fragile, kept breaking. I had to superglue them together. Just be careful with it. I printed this with exterior supports. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
File Handle
This is a file handle for a metal file. Over the years I have acquired many files and it is now time to organize them so that they all have handles and can be hung on a tool board. The handle uses a tapered insert that can be secured to the file and then the handle can be put on over the insert and file. I have added a hole to the current design and have scaled the handle so as to have a n entire range of handle sizes for different size files. The set will be added here soon. Rolling Tool Chest Latch Replacement (Husky or Keter brand)
I own one of the rolling toolboxes pictured, and use it to transport my tools to and fro. On day, as I wheeled the thing over a curb, the cheap plastic latch that holds the top shut broke. This is a replacement piece. This part should fit the following: Husky Brand Sliding Tool Chest (Available in Home Depot stores in the USA) Keter Brand Sliding Tool Chest (Available in the the USA and Europe) I've included the Solidworks 2012 file, so you can modify it as needed. Hexayurt door handles and latches
These are the door handles and latches that I designed and printed for the Hexayurt that I built for Burning Man this year. They are sized to fit on a 9 1/2 mm diameter carbon fiber arrow shaft. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
Customizable Hirth Joint (CSG version) (library)
Customizable Hith Joint (CSG version) (library) This is an improved version of the original source This improved model can start the teeth not just at the center but also at a polygon of choosable radius. Meaning one can create thin walled tube couplings that are radially self centering (Such couplings are often found in Mountainbike axles). The interpenetration depth of the teeth can be limited with the flatlimit parameter. Specialised functions hirthaxle(l,d,dbore,n,beta, delta, flatlimit) hirthtube(l,d,dbore,n,beta, delta, flatlimit) "axle"-postfix: all teeth converge to the center "tube"-postfix: all teeth emerge from the polygon inscribed into the bore diameter Convinie... Sharpie Fine Point Plotter Adapter
Slip this on a Sharpie Fine Point pen (aka: a "normal" Sharpie) to use it in a standard pen plotter. Note that regular Sharpies are too long to fit in a carousel-style pen holder. I'll look into updating this for mini-Sharpies eventually. This should be a snug friction fit, but tolerances are tight and printing it is tricky. There's only room for a single 0.4mm perimeter wall, and you'll need to print with support material. I printed with 0.2mm layers. Note that the long end goes towards the tip. Note: I made a parametric version of this adapter available here: http://openjscad.org/#https://gist.githubusercontent.com/beardicus/d668c0f6b96be53d16dc/raw/plotter-pen-adapter.jscad This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
Simply Threads
There are many cool things on original source that use soda bottle threads, but the problem is... we don't really drink soda at our house. We do sometimes go for the Simply brand juices though (very tastey) so I decided to figure out some threads that fit those bottles. They also have a wider mouth so it opens up some more possibilities for like animal feeders and stuff like that. But first things first, here are the threads it uses. Clamp Handle for saw fence - parametric with a bit of bodgeing

Rigidbot Nut Insert
For placing into RigidBot bars to fix issues with stripped threads. I used a bar clamp to press the bolts into place. The large and medium sizes differ only in width by a fraction of a millimeter (the bars were somewhat inconsistent in size so I made two different versions). The small one is significantly smaller and I used those for holes that were further in. Uses a 3mm nut with nylon insert (there's no need for to use nylocs, but that's all I had on hand). It will probably work with a regular 3mm nut too, but I haven't tried it. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Two-Tone Portable Coat and Purse Hook
This multicolored portable coat and purse hook follows the basic C-clamp mechanism to safely secure your purse and coat to any table up to 1.75in thick. Its small design (about 5in tall and 3.5in wide) means you can store it easily and take it with you wherever you go. The clamping mechanism makes sure the hook is secure to the table and can’t be accidentally knocked off or easily stolen. Some more difficult assembly is required. Karen's Scarf and Coat Hook
This 3D designed object is a coat/scarf hook. It may hold up to three jackets comfortably and also a few scarves. You may also find it holds other objects like an umbrella with a curved handle or a purse. It is really what you want to make of it, Enjoy! This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
Jon's Hook

Simple 4X5 Frame for Wetplate Collodion Tintypes

Desk cable clamp
Holds a cable to the back of a desk. Screw this clamp into the bottom back of the desktop. Pre-drill the hole to prevent the screw from pushing out the desk-wood. I chose LAYWOO-D3 to match my wood coloured desk, but black or brown plastic might also look just as good. The slot down the middle allows the arms to spring open wide enough to accept the cable. Sizes can be changed in scad file to suite your desk and cable and screw. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Headphone hanger for Grado, 1" desk
This is a simple but sturdy hanger for Grado headphones (e.g. SR 125) to hang on the bottom of a 1" desk. There are prongs and a groove on top to keep the cable captive. The goal is to save space and keep the cable out of the way of my keyboard and arm, both when use in and when not. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Combined Rail and Gooseneck for 10-hook Punch Card Reader
I'm in the process of assembling the 10-Hook Mechanical Punch Card Reader , and was having trouble getting the gooseneck and rail connected without snapping the screw point of the gooseneck right off. This combines the two pieces into one solid STL using some quick kitbashing in OpenSCAD. The only change to the process is the need to install the rail early in assembly, when the main frame is put together. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Nexus 4 Wireless Charging Orb (FANCY VERSION)
This is an upgrade to my simpler design: the original source New features: -- Has screw holes for attaching to a desk -- Has a hole for feeding the USB cable underneath -- Has a cable guide that lets the stand sit flat on the table if the cable is running under it -- It is low in the middle, and raised on the edges so that the phone is properly centered when in portrait mode (in the center), or raised in landscape mode (sitting on the raised edges). -- Slightly better angles and tighter fit (no tape needed anywhere) -- Little nups on the top of the frame to prevent tipping when in portrait mode. Also, this doesn't have to attach to a desk. I can be used standalone, and t... This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
1541 Ultimate Case "The Box"
So many seemed to be in need of one, so here's a 3D printable case for your U1. A separate Ethernet version will come soon. 40% fill and 0.6 mm wall thickness should be ok with PLA. There are separate feet if you prefer those, but the case should support the cartridge well enough as is. The PCB I have is 68 by 100 mm, so if you happen to have another revision of a different size, the case probably won't work for you. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Cup measures
Filled to the brim, this cup should accommodate ~224 ml, which is approx. 1 Cup. Interestingly a scoop of compressible ingredients such as flour can be up to 1.5× the weight of the same volume sifted. Version 1 was made with Blender while version 2 was made with OpenSCAD and has the following advantages: Parametric - 1 Cup, ¼ Cup or any other measure such as ¾ Cup can be generated by changing the parameters if you have OpenSCAD Braced - The joint between the handle and the scoop should be stronger Higher definition - The circles and ellipses should look less polygonal The 1 Cup STL is from Blender while the ¼ Cup measure is exported from OpenSCAD. The walls of the cup are 3 mm wide and the... This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.

Memory Capsule
A simple capsule to permanently store sentimental objects. After my divorce, I couldn't bring myself to get rid of my wedding ring. Instead, I decided to make a capsule to store it as a memory -- to put the pain away, but not to throw away the memory. It has a small viewport in case you'd like to glance at it -- and so that it can be set on a desk or display case and not roll away. This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
Overhanging Wall Angle Tests [Cura 5.10 Overhang]

TWENTY SOMETHING SULLIVAN
https://youtu.be/vtTou97ljL8 TWENTY SOMETHING SULLIVAN Architectural Ornament 1881 – 1885 by Tom Burtonwood and Tim Samuelson http://twentysomethingsullivan.com Louis H. Sullivan is often celebrated as a father of modern architecture. But if given the choice, it’s not what he would have wanted to be remembered for. His advocacy was for directing the human powers of thought, reason and creativity towards bringing buildings and their component parts to vital life. As in nature, all parts would relate to the whole. And each would reflect the interpretive powers of the individual, including emotion-stirring beauty uniquely of the work of the individual creator. By this process, a vital, perpetu... This hosted file keeps creator credit and license details.
G-Clamp fully printable
Small G-Clamp fully printable without support. Additional a larger frame and screw is provided which adds another centimeter. The protector can be reused for the larger clamp. The screw has a fair amount of space, so it should fit without problems into the frame screw hole. Should anyone still have an issue let me know and i can provide an additional version. The best way to mount the protector is to use the clamp itself by closing the clamp until the screw ball and protector ball joint clicks together or use your thumb. For my requirements i used only 25% (~3 hour print) because i need just to hold things in place while the glue is drying. For more force 100% infill is recommended and don'... Yet ANOTHER Machine Vise
This is a quite robust 3d-printable machine vise. It's 100% 3d-printed - no screw or other piece of hardware is needed to hold the individual pieces together. Pieces clip and snap together. It's a demonstration that it is very important to consider forces and material properties already when designing a mechanical object. Hints about proper design are presented in my video: https://youtu.be/mziT7KV-fRI The video also includes explanations how to assemble this vise. For 3d-printing it's recommended to print 3 shell layers. 35% infill is sufficient. All the forces for clamping a workpiece are only active at the outer surface - more infill doesn't make the vise more robust. Layer height is 0.1...
